Planning a trip to Asia or planning to live in Thailand, if you’re coming from the far side of the Atlantic, adapting to the ‘Condom Sizes’ of the East is a must. Especially if you plan to indulge yourself in the open minded sexual entertainment available in Pattaya. When you’re in the States finding condoms that fit, for safe sex, isn’t too complicated, the condom sizes are clearly marked and expressed in a way you’ve become comfortable and familiar with. For Example XS for Extra Small, even though I think this size may only be available online. Most manufacturers are merciful by concealing that particular condom size within a brand rather than putting Extra Small size on the product label. Usually at most retail outlets like Costco, Rite Aid, or Tesco you are able to find the condom sizes Small, Normal, Large, and Extra Large readily available. That just seems too scientific, I’ll be honest on my first trip, when my condoms ran out, I was lost trying to resupply. Trying to read the sizes on the condom box was like trying to read the fine print on a car lease, it was so tiny. I often bought the wrong size because I was shy trying to read the small print in a 7/11 full of people. So I just bought a box and took it home to read the size in privacy just to find out they were too small again. Once I was able to find my size or one that was close enough, I can now just purchase condoms from the color of the box.

For those that are users of Trojan Magnums in the West, here’s some useful information about condom sizes.

All Trojan Magnum brands are 54mm, except for the Magnum XL’s which are 56mm. Another thing that I found interesting was, Magnums are actually manufactured in Thailand through Okamoto LTD. but are unavailable to be purchased here as the Magnum brand. For me it strokes my ego more when I throw a pack of Magnums on the bed. It’s not the same when I pull out an Okamoto, I’m just sayin’. For those of you that still prefer to have your condoms sent to you from your homeland use regular mail service. Instruct your people to send small quantities like 3 or 4 boxes of 12 with a receipt. Sometimes express mail services like Fedex & UPS get hung up in a lot of red tape getting your stuff to you, like telling you, you need FDA approval for a box of 12 condoms. Whereas the postal service works fine, sometimes you may have to pay a Duty Tax or something of that nature or wait a few days more. In general those amounts of time or money are reasonable and you get your stuff.
